From the very beginning, creative universe of Gianni Versace had always developed multidisciplinary, not only in fashion, but in design, the widest possible sense of that term and the essential art of life transformed throughout his passion for all forms of art. Home Collection is the natural addition to his interests, created originally in 1992 as a fabrics collection for home, containing sheets, duvets, pillows etc, and it was followed by porcelain dinner sets, which were made in the collaboration with Rosenthal.
Since 1992 every collection has presented new themes, always linked with a certain established decorative emblem, like Medusa or Neo classical Greek elements.
On this years Salone Internacionale del Mobile in Milan, they presented their new collections of luxury home furniture, which exude true spirit of Versace, though the leader of the company now is Donatella Versace, sister of the late fashion genius. Furniture is made out of luxurious and expensive fabrics and designed in their world famous style. They used their famous patterns, prints and color combinations, so the company would keep its true spirit. Although they collaborate with many other fashion and design houses, their philosophy remains unchanged. Life is meant to be lived, enjoyed, used.
